Comfort Inn University Durham - Chapel Hill

The location was perfect for the event we attended. The hot breakfast was delicious.

The room was very clean. The shower was wonderful. Plenty of nice towels. Blankets were soft and enough pillows as well. And checking in was so easy. It was a last minute booking due to a major power outage and the young man working the desk did an amazing job . And the breakfast was great as well

Breakfast was quite good considering this is a '2 star' hotel. I'd stayed in 2 other hotels in Durham (a 2-star Days Inn that was awful, and a 2.5 star OYO that was even worse). This hotel was far better than both of those. It leaves me wondering who comes up with the star rating? Why isn't this a 3? Or at least a 2.5? Anyway... good beds, nicely renovated bathrooms, overall very good value for the money.

The room and facility was clean. the AC worked well, especially given it was 100 degrees outside. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful.
